At eight years old, I was in a car accident that took the lives of my parents and four of my siblings. My older brother and I were the only ones to survive. Now, 20 years later, I have found a hope and trust in God that has carried me in the midst of my grief and has allowed me to continue my own healing by helping others with theirs.

I haven’t written about it much publicly so far, but God has led me to a place now where I’ve been wanting to share it more because I know there are many who can relate. My hope is that my story provides encouragement and a beacon of light to those who are hurting because I’ve been there, and God has provided a way for me through the pain of loss. I recently had the opportunity to share my story in a devotional with Just Between Us. You can read it here!
